Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing on L2-IMBA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service. L2-IMBA is an independent, fan-driven project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NCSoft Corporation or any of its subsidiaries.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and participate on L2-IMBA. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Accounts found to be created by minors under 16 may be suspended without notice.

3. Account Rules

• One account per player — dualboxing is strictly prohibited.
• Account sharing is not allowed. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You may not sell, trade, or transfer your account to another person.
• You must keep your login credentials secure. We will never ask for your password.
• Accounts that are inactive for more than 180 days may be deleted without notice.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban:

• Using bots, auto-clickers, macros, or any third-party automation software.
• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or game mechanics in unintended ways.
• Harassing, threatening, or using hate speech toward other players or staff.
• Real-money trading (RMT) — buying or selling in-game items or currency for real money.
• Attempting to hack, DDOS, or disrupt the server or website.
• Advertising other private servers or competing projects.

5. Donations

Any donations made to support L2-IMBA are voluntary contributions to the operational costs of a non-commercial fan project. Donations are non-refundable and do not constitute a purchase of goods or services. Donating does not grant immunity from bans or rule enforcement. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue donation bonuses at any time.

6. Server Availability & Wipes

L2-IMBA is provided on a best-effort, fan-run basis. We do not guarantee uptime, continuity, or preservation of character data. The administration reserves the right to perform server wipes, restarts, or shut down the project at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss of in-game progress, items, or account data.

7. Disclaimer

L2-IMBA is an independent fan project for educational and entertainment purposes. Lineage 2 is a trademark of NCSoft Corporation. We claim no ownership over NCSoft's intellectual property. This service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of L2-IMBA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will announce major changes on our Discord server.
